About This Camera

The Nikon FM is a mechanical, manual focus 35mm SLR film camera body generally known to be from the late-1970s era. This particular example is in Near Mint+++ condition and was sourced directly from Japan. As a fully mechanical body with a Nikon F mount, the FM is a highly regarded and collectible classic — the shutter is generally known to work without a battery (the battery powers the exposure meter only), making it a dependable choice for film photography beginners, students, and manual focus SLR enthusiasts alike.
